Foundations are definitely my most guilty pleasure. When there's a new release I always wanna give it a go, especially when said new release promises a dewy radiance. Having dry skin means my favourite foundations are lightweight, dewy and weightless, and this one seemed to tick all the boxes. I know cushion foundations are big in Korea, so I was really excited to try L'Oreal's newest offering. I love me a bit of Korean beauty!

L'Oreal Nude Magique Cushion Foundation is L'Oreal's first cushion foundation. It's basically a sponge drenched in foundation, and you simply dab your applicator of choice into the sponge and tap onto the skin for flawless coverage. The little round flat sponge that comes with it actually works quite well, but I prefer to use my Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge and bounce it onto my face for a sheer, oh so dewy coverage. The beauty of this is that it can be built up to a pretty decent medium coverage foundation, without losing any of it's radiance. I absolutely adore this foundation and haven't used anything else since I got it. Truly one of the best I've tried for a long time. It's SO dewy but the lasting power is pretty decent and doesn't slide around on the face like other dewy bases can. For oily skintypes it might not be as great as it will need powder, but for those with dry, dull skin like mine it's perfection. One thing I will say is that I'm not sure how long it'll last as I'm already trying to press a little bit harder into the sponge and I've only been using it for a fortnight.

Have you tried L'Oreal's latest offering?

P.S. It's currently on an introductory offer in Boots for £9.99 until 08/06/16 when it will go up to £14.99.

  1. So intrigued by this. My t zone gets oily so I always powder lightly no matter what base I use... I may have to give it a try! xx
